Any new skaters in Kindergarten or above may choose to enroll in Basic 1 or Hockey 1.  New skaters not yet in kindergarten must begin in Snow Plow Sam.

The objectives of the program are:

• To provide a fun and safe skating experience for the beginner as well as the more advanced skater
• To teach correct technique of the basic elements of skating
• To develop a finer degree of coordination and balance
• To promote physical fitness
• To have fun!

Lesson Times:  Tuesday 6:15PM-6:45PM  BASIC 1 / BASIC 2  / BASIC 3
                                          6:45PM-7:15PM  BASIC 4 / BASIC 5 / BASIC 6

Sunday 1:00PM-1:30PM    BASIC 4 /  BASIC 5 / BASIC 6
                2:15PM-2:45PM     BASIC 1 /  BASIC 2 / BASIC 3

No Lessons - Oct 27, 29, Dec 1, Jan 12, 19, 28

There will be some "Learn to Skate Practice Ice" posted on the Arena Schedule between December12th and January 3rd.

Fee $135.00 City of EGF Residents
       $175.00 Polk County but outside of EGF City Limits

Before registering with Parks and Recreation, you must register with Learn to Skate and obtain a registration number which is also insurance.  You will ONLY register with Learn to Skate if you are NOT a synchro skater or compete individually at non-sanctioning events.  For regular Learn to Skate lessons, you will need to register with Learn to Skate.
