Our playground program is a very popular program each summer. The program is setup for children 6-10 years of age. The group meets each Monday through Thursday from 1:00-3:00pm. Each day starts with participants gathering at the Campbell Library. Children have the options of swimming at Sherlock pool, going to Sherlock Park for outdoor games or to use the play structure, remaining at the library for arts and crafts activities, reading or watching a movie.
The group is limited to 100 participants and are typically in groups of 6-8 kids per playground leader each day.
Fridays are the group field trip days. Times for field trips will vary depending on the location. Common field trip locations have been University Park, the CanadInn water park, Turtle River State Park, River Cinema, Northern Aire, Red Ray Lanes and Heritage Village. There are usually extra costs with field trips.
